The Cabinet Committee for Drug Pricing, chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, has approved Maximum Retail Prices (MRPs) for 52 new advanced molecules targeting Cancer, Diabetes, and Hypertension.
This major milestone brings the total approved essential drugs to 87 in just 4 months. Official notification will pave the way for local production and unlock strong potential for global exports.
