The Central Executive Meeting in Lahore focused on advancing PPMA’s mission of ensuring quality, affordable, and globally competitive medicines.

Citi Pharma and China’s Xin Weisheng are establishing a fully automated antibiotic plant by 2026, producing key APIs and lifesaving antibiotics. This step reduces import reliance and supports PPMA’s vision of self-reliance and affordable, quality medicines in Pakistan.

ATCO Pharma has become Pakistan’s first and only pharmaceutical company with a PIC/S-compliant sterile facility. This milestone ensures safer medicines for patients while strengthening Pakistan’s global pharmaceutical standing and export potential.
