Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has announced that local production of vaccines and medical equipment will start soon, backed by $663 million investment agreements with Chinese companies. Pakistan currently exports medicines to 53 countries and is advancing toward WHO Maturity Level-3 accreditation, opening potential access to over 100 global markets.
